Default Wrap your airbox in foil?

I guess it can't hurt (at least he didn't put it on the inside), but how much would a hot airbox even change the intake air temp? Seems like a lot of air is moving pretty fast through that thing.

I can maybe see it having a small impact on air temp at idle but once moving, not so much...

You would just need it on the bottom half. You should your bike taken away for paying $150 for tin foil and your legs broken for paying $300 for gold colored tin foil.

that is a $1,000,000 dollar idea right there. Sell performance airbox foil kits that help improve gas mileage and increase hoarsepower.

I would think putting it on the bottom of the fuel cell/tank itself would have a better result as cool fuel is just as important as cool air. Only with a Buell I aint wrapping my frame in that shit.

On the other hand the cold air systems cars run are not anywhere as efficient as a motorcycles pressurized ram air ducts so I doubt there is any benefit to wrapping the airbox.
