That looks like a ton of fun...and a good "job" for Jethro. My blue heeler/aussie cattle dog mutt Max isn't up for towing me around as a "job"...but he sure LOVES fetching things for me. I take a hard rubber Kong ball with us when we go running together...throw that thing as far as I can...Max hauls ass after it...grabs it...and brings it back to me. It's his "job", I guess.

I'm sure you've posted about it before but I can't remember..what breed is Jethro?

We don't really know man. He could be a boxer/mastiff mix, but he knows instinctively how to herd cattle so he could also be a Filo de San Miguel mix going by his build, temperament and color.

I love these videos/updates. Your puppy is living such a fulfilling happy dog life. I just came back from a trip to Houston to visit my sister. I forgot just how annoying the heat/humidity was. I couldn't imagine having my black lab in that heat. Jethro must love to run when the weather cools...

Yea, he pulls like shit during the summer. And on the times we skate next to the river all he does is look over at it the whole time waiting for his break so he can go swimming. Of course I always let him sooner or later.

His real speed and stamina is displayed around 50-60 degrees...
