Default Red Ring of Death

Porkchop's thread and various other threads I've seen on the topic have me wondering about the X-Box 360. I was planning to get one when I had money, but it seems like everyone who owns one has had to contend with the Ring of Death. So I'm gathering data by the most scientific means possible: an internet forum poll.

For you 360 owners, ever seen the Ring?

Yes, about a year after first purchase. The replacement is going on two years old and sounds like it's dying a slow, crunchy death.

I've seen a burning ring of fire, and a firey burning ring, does that help?

Not unless you were jumping through them on a cross-shaped skateboard, 'cause that would make a killer youtube video.

They were very quick about it, no real bullshit or stalling. I think the process took all of 5 minutes. Took about a week and a half from the call to the arrival of the replacement.
