Chewy began his motorcycle adventures today. It was his first ride. I didn't pick up the pace much since I just went around knoxville and grabbed a quick bite to eat, but it was sure nice to be back on two. As for chewy, he found a new place in where my passenger pegs use to hang. He seemed ok with being hung for the ride around town.

Me and Chewy just got back from our journey to the gap. We had a blast. We got to make a few passes during the day relatively five-0 free. Met up with some great people, ate some good food. Horsed around a lot. Just had and all out good time.
Now time for some pictures. Here is where Chewy spent most of the day riding. He seemed fine with it. Had to do a photo op at the tree. He's a climber Hmmm, old school rally styley About to start the fiddy race. And it's ON!!! Your Deal's Gap Spring Fiddy Champ is.......ME!!!!!!!!! Killboy's Blinding machine in the modded category big wheels. Me coming down the hill in the first heat race. Video to come, I had a wreck in the first heat. Your Deal's Gap Spring Stock Big Wheel Champ is.......ME!!!!!!!!! I luv me some trophies! Chewy enjoyed the after hours activities a little too much and I found him passed out on the sidewalk. We took this opportunity to give him a tattoo. I got more pics and a lot of stories to come about the 50/big wheel races, but this is all I can write right now. Got to unpack and let this hang over subside.

Chewy laid low for the first couple sections of the cross country trip... From Orlando, to Knoxville, to Kettering OH, then to Kansas City... He decided to come out of the woodwork in Abeline KS... His motivation... Well, Chewy LOVES the...
Just look at that grin... you know he was one happy Wookie! In Colorado, Chewy decided it was time for a change... He sabatoged the Buell so he could ride on a 954... Ridin' dirty through NM... Chewy went back into hiding through Texas and Oklahoma, but decided to show himself in Arkansas... 'WWWWAAAAAoooooaaaaahhhhwwwwwWWWaaah' (translation - this road is FUCKED.) At this gas station, Chewy reminded us of the movies "Wrong Turn" and "Deliverance"... You can see the fear in his eyes... 'WWWWWWAAAAAawwwwwwaaaaahhhhhh' (translation - these Ozarks are pretty...') Given his track record with the ladies, Drewpy made Chewy stay outside at Psycho's place... Back at his old stomping grounds, Chewy relates to me that it's good to be home... 4000 miles on two wheels wore us both out! |

2008.08.01 Nemo, SD
This is our campsite - my home for the next 6 days. It's BEAUTIFUL 2008.08.01.1000 Sturgis, SD Chewy getting his first Sturgis sticker. We went in early to beat the crowd. Chewy getting his first autograph! 2008. Spearfish, SD Chophouse Whisky Bar Sticking some cards on the bulletin board at the Chophouse! I broke my camera right after that. I threw it in my Camelbak and forgot to zip the pocket. When I flung my Camelbak onto my back, the camera went flying! That night, I went back into Rapid City, SD and bought a new one. To Be Continued... Last edited by jtemple; 08-26-2008 at 09:04 AM.. |
