What a way to spend Christmas eve. Sitting here with my mom in the ER. She fell while feeding cows and broke her arm. She may even need surgery.

As bad as that is, at least you are there for Mom.

I'm sure the neighbors will help with chores until she's back at it ( the fellow farmers around step up as soon as they find out )

Thanks everyone. I am sure mom and dad will have many offers of help. Tomorrow morning she goes in for surgery. It is an ugly break! On a funny note mom told me I missed my calling and would have been a darned good nurse. I am glad I was of help.
