Some of those look like jailhouse jobs and others look like they were being practiced on by someone who has no real training.
That's why you research the talented...and non taleneted...when considering getting inked. And don't just take what you can get because you want one really bad. A guy I used to work with always offered to do some ink for me. I hurt his feelings because I wouldn't let him. His work, although decent, wasn't up to my standards. It was good, but not something I wanted on my body forever or have to consider a cover up or lots of touch ups later. On that note, I'm very satisfied with the artist I use.

I think 2nd graders could probably do a better job than some of these!
This is part of the reason I won't get another, that and my husband doesn't approve. |
