We sent one to the morgue just now and almost sent another. At least I got to help out in running the codes.

I've been making a Christmas list for myself for gear. I need a new lid already & a new pair of boots. My lid is too big for me now and my left boot sole is slick. I've found a few nice lids in my size (xmsall) on closeout for cheap but can't find shit for boots.

Its boots I have an issue with. The *cheaper* ones look like high top work boots & I want boots not those ankle high shoes/boots. I keep hoping some that will actually fit my small foot will go on closeout but that rarely happens. I'd love to get a pair of overpants but I'm so shortlegged the knee protection is never in the right place & they're always too long.

I see they have the TK-8 series on sale for $40-50. That's the one I crash tested last year in Austin. It held up well in a 200+ ft slide & it's the model I have now. They get 2 thumbs up from me

I am at the other end of the spectrum with my big feet and long legs
I am a 14-15 in shoes so my choices in boots are limited and the sidis I have hurt to wear all day so i only use them at the track. for street I have a pair of the hi tec magnum boots that are comfy and have good ankle protection. pants are a little iffy too. I have a pair of fieldsheer leater pants that zipper into a jacket for the track, they fit me well. I also have tourmaster overpants, they fit ok but it also depends on my weight. Back in the summer I was down around 240 and they fit well with jeans or sweatpants. Now I am 15 to 20 above that so now its just under armour. I am at a crossroads for next season anyway. I will be selling my track bike soon and dont realy have a burning desire to run the track next year. I figured with us trying to buy a house that money will be better spent elsewhere (sucks being responsible) so for now I will use some of my side job cash to ge tthe TL back and running and just keep using the futura for touring/commuting duty.
