Testing for my blackbelt tomorrow night
Well after 13 years of doing Goshin JuJitsu I test for my black belt tomorrow night. If any good pictures come out of it I will post if interested.

Good Luck!
I'm testing for my TKD Black Belt in 2009 and will be testing for Black in BJJ in a little over two years. You'll do great!

I've considered getting started in some type of martial arts. What would everyone suggest, and why?

I do ITA TKD because the schools are very structured. You know what you need to know for each testing cycle and you know when the testing cycles are. With many of the schools, it's easy to get derailed, lose interest, or get off track. With ITA, you can walk into any school anywhere in the country and be allowed to attend class and learn the exact same curriculum. ITA has also done something unique with BJJ. They have taken the same very structured approach to teaching something that is VERY difficult to teach and learn. If you've ever looked into BJJ, most of the schools are either tattoo fest, MMA brawl pits or if they are good are taught by someone who learned from Gracie or one of his direct off-shoots. Gracie doesn't teach with ANY kind of structure. Learning from any of the Gracie clan is like learning from a Kung Fu Monk. You are ready when THEY say you are ready and you really never know where you are or if you are learning anything. They've done such a good job of breaking down BJJ into a teachable, structured curriculum that the Gracies have been trying to buy the system from ITA. Larry Shealy (google him if you don't know who he is) was contracted by ITA to help them develop the curriculum. He supplied the training and knowledge. ITA supplied the structure and the design. I like TKD as a traditional Martial Art with BJJ as the solution to the "problem" when the fight goes to ground.

My college has a judo course i am thinking about taking either over the summer or next fall. They also have a second advanced course. It would at least serve as a building block for other things.
