That's how I feel about my 35-100 F2.0. The uses that I've listed above are projected for next season. So far I've used it at a wedding and I just couldn't put it down. Next weekend it'll get a workout at the bike show.

Which 70-200 do you have? The 2.4 or the 4? I have the 4 and I like it a lot but I really dig my 17-55 IS 2.8. I'm considering getting the 50/1.4 later rather than the Plastic Fantastic but I'll have to see if I need it. I have a Sigma 30/1.4 that I might just use in its place. I think my next purchase will be a Metz 58A flash rather than another lens. I also want to possibly upgrade to the 50D but I might wait to see what the 60 brings to the table.

There also seems to be a fair bit of sample variation in the 30mm lens. From what I've heard it seems to be about 50/50 whether you get a good copy. |

While it doesn't look like it would fill my needs, that definitely looks useful. I could see someone who uses a long lens, wides, and primes getting good use out of it.
