It's not often a plane goes down and everyone survives. They all are incredibly lucky considering where it could have gone down (manhattan or jersey)

I'm so sick of this fucking plane and the goddamn weather stories on the news.
Every five minutes "It's going to get cold tomorrow!!" "What can we do to protect us from bird strikes!!!" All evening "did you hear about the crash? "Don't you work in midtown? Did you walk over and look at the plane? blah blah fucking blah. Local news stations are having a field day combing youtube videos for airplane crashes. Kudo's to the ferry captains. Kudo's to the plane captain. Fuck all the passengers who blocked the aisle to grab there bags out of the overhang. Screw the idiots who are bound to sue the geese for flying into (Don't fucking mess with NY geese motherfuckers). Actual conversation.... Hey I saw the plane from my office!!! What did it look like? A fucking plane in the river!!! Kinda like boat? Yeah a boat with wings!!! With people on top!! By saturday there will be street vendors selling plane in the water suveniers next to the stupid remember 9/11 twin towers picture frames and Obama sweatshirts. Can't wait for tomorrow morning when it's 1 degree outside. I walk about a mile (I guess) to the office because Subways are for pussy's (that and I usually get to work quicker just walking it) I'm hoping for a nice runny nose to develop as I walk and I think I'm just going to let it run. This way when I walk into the office the first thing we can talk about is my frozen snot encrusted upper lip and not the fucking plane or the fucking weather. |
