Point and Shoot Camera
I am looking for a the best possible deal on a mid range p&s. What I need from it is a decent shot while on the moved, take some vibration as it will be a bike camera, and be compact. I am on a budget, so try and get me something really cheap if you can. Show me your bargain basement deals.
This will be my ride report camera. So I will be taking a lot of one handed shots while riding. So something that is easy to hold while wearing gloves would be awesome.

For shock & water resistance, you should look at Olympus.
But the Panasonic DMZ's are my favorites, they have better lens quality and more optical zoom. Only problem is they're not all slim & pocketsize. |

I'd respond but I can not get over the imagery of you pointing a gun at a wee camera and blowing it to bits. (Are you looking for wee size such as a Canon SD elph series or something like a Nikon Coolpix P series? Either way....let the battle of shutter speed vs pic quality begin) |

it doesnt have to be tiny, i just dont want a massive contraption. Like the ones that look like they should be SLRs.

I can't think of it right now but there is a camera that has a port for a wired remote that you could mount on the handlebar...

Im a fan of the Canon Powershot Digital Elph series. Ive had one for 2 or three years and Ive taken it everywhere including out fishing, on my bike, and to the beach. Its compact enough to keep it in your bag all the time.

Can't go wrong with a Canon. I have a Powershot and a Rebel and love them both!

I've had very good experiences with 3 Sony's now. Well worth the money and only just over $100 with a Carl Zeiss lens to boot!
