They just remind me of the 80's when people would buy chrome tips at Auto Zone to stick over their Chevette or Celebrity's exhaust pipe.

The Sierra Cosworth was the shit. Practically uninsurable in England but great none the less. Some others I disagree with have been mentioned but:

VW Thing
Lambo LM002
Subaru Brat
Plymouth Prowler (not enough engine, but that doesn't affect the looks)
7 Series (Bangle butt has grown on me over time)
Enzo (the functionality of the design, wrongly called superfluous by the author, has a beauty of its own to me)
Subaru Baja

There are others, but those are the ones that jumped out to me.

I'd say anything made my AMC belongs on the list with the exception of the Jeep line prior to the sell off to Chrysler.

I don't understand it myself, but that car always appealed to me for some reason.

To me, the Baja (and the Brat) look like "El Camino-Lite!" (and I'm not a fan of the El Camino either )... the whole Cruck thing is just to me...

/agree

alot of cars on there dont deserve to be.
I remember my father showed me a lagonda once in an upscale car lot, and he laughed saying how he used to think it was so awesome and futuristic looking, and helped ignite his passion for cars, but seeing it again, it was not quite as amazing as he had remembered it was. still cool though... and i agree.
