I disagree with this. I've had cats in the past myself. My dad has 2 indoor cats. Cat number 2 was completely feral - as in won't get near people feral. I can't keep him off my lap when I visit, he is an awesome cat and completely at home indoors.

(I won't start on my dad's little 'pride' of outside cats though..) ICK.
