I agree with OTB. Part of the accident is realizing your mistake and learning from it. What were the factors that lead up to the accident? What could you do different next time? Anything you care to share to help out other riders? I'm definatly glad to hear you are ok.

Very important to know what and why it happened to prevent it again in the future. |

Well am in pa. And was at school all day from 2-8 so the bike was sitting awhile and temp. was pretty low probably around 20's. just went to make a left hand turn and clicked into 2nd and the tire just wasnt warm and the back swung around and high sided me. As for my gear my Icon jacket helmet and gloves did everything they were suppose to do no bumps or bruises on my upper body just a sprained ankle. As for my bike not to much damage was sustained.. my 905 race rails saved my bike from alot more damage
Pic of today... my ankle Last edited by 02Gsxxr; 02-29-2008 at 10:42 PM.. |

What was damaged on your bike? Like a mirror or something? Those race rails prevent a lot of damage. Good thing you had 'em. And 20 degrees is cold as hell.
