BMW and Aerostitch stuff is top notch. (I am sure you don't want BMW stuff though lol)
First Gear and Rev'it are good shit, but next tier down Olympia is right in there. Sidi boots are top notch. I would get something more road oriented with a strom. It's not made for hardcore off road, so you will want to find something more like the on roads or similar. MX boots are designed to let water in, I would look for something else with what you will be doing. After riding to Orlando and back during winter, I wished I had waterproof boots. Give Francois or Megan a call at dualsporttouring.com and talk to one of them. Tell them Trip advised you to call and ask them questions about gear. They sell First Gear and Rev'it and will make sure you get what you are looking for. Tell them conditions you will be using it and what you will mostly be doing. They really know their stuff.

That is great man. I remember when you got rid of your R6. I was doubting you would ever get back on 2. Congrads!!

He's gone... I think he must be riding.

Nope, not gone. Had my daughter all weekend. Now I'm online looking up everything I'm going to buy. First order of business is a top case (it's cheaper than the side cases and I need something right now) and some all-weather gear. There are lots of other things I want for the bike too, like radiator and oil cooler protectors, throttle lock cruise control, GPS mount, GPS, cigarette lighter adapter to plug in GPS. I think this stuff can get me by for now, but I'm also going to want the side bags and other goodies. Unfortunately, I'm looking at close to a grand just for good side bags.

Congrats dude. Hey, now that you have a bike there's this little thing going on in Blairesville, you might have heard about it?
