I've had the same issue with mine.
I put the suit on and got in my parent's pool. Seriously. Had TONS of people tell me to get it wet. Then I sat in it for about an hour and put leather conditioner on it. Good as gold. |

Ps..heating it up with a heat gun or hairdryer works while it's warm, the heat makes it more supple...till it cools back down and the leather shrinks. The high heat drives out the natural moisture content causing the shrinking and the high heat breaks down the leather's fiber structure, weakening it. You end up with a dry, wrinkled and weak hide..........like mine.......

Gloves loosen up if you ride with them in the rain...makes sense to steam it, do alot of bending/stretching in it then condition it. Why not?

Water is the best way. Wear it in the shower. Just like you do with boots in the army to get them to wear in.

What to put your leather on in the shower? Only difference from rain is you get to choose the time, temperature, and intensity of the water.

Well I dont technically own a one piece leather. I just have a mesh jacket. I just keep imagining the water happening to get inside it.

... = dry leather = less flexible = cracking
Leather conditioner and wearing the suit is the way to go.
