Nope. Big time around Houston, Dallas and San Antonio. I was at a benefit a few weeks ago where I told them I liked them because of all their glitter they were super pissed, but didn't do shit because I have boobs (and can outride them which I don't think to be a major accomplishment).

Gloria Allred took the case of the paralyzed rider, so there's high likelihood this will remain in the public eye for quite some time. Terrible story all the way round - not the way the RR driver was expecting his anniversary to end up.

I am not just basing my opinion on just his choice of vehicle. He's a banker that lives in lower manhattan and has a range rover. I doubt the guy is hurting for money. He may not be balla rich, but he should definitely be able to afford insurance that will more than cover his back in this... Hell my auto/bike insurance is pretty fuckin good for civil suits.

If it makes any difference I won't donate to the paralyzed dipshit either. I very rarely donate to any fallen rider fund. I believe if you chose to ride, you should be able to afford the consequences, even if it isn't your fault.

This CNN opinion piece makes a some what convincing argument that everybody except the dude who cut the suv driver and the SUV driver himself was legally allowed to do what they did.

This comment left below the article counters the author pretty well I think.

You implore for objectivity, yet your article is rife with bias due to your disregard of the circumstances surrounding these events.

1) Yes, usually the driver of the "rear ender" vehicle normally gets the blame, but here, the biker cut the SUV off first with the expressed intent of causing a problem. At that distance, there's no way an SUV can stop in time. Additionally, the biker was looking backwards the entire time and had ample opportunity to avoid a collision if he so chose. The circumstances exonerate the SUV driver completely.

2) Yes, obviously it is illegal to drive over and paralyze people in normal circumstances. However, given the fact that evidence (social media posts from bikers who were present) shows that the SUV was attacked by the mob before driving off, this is a clearly not a "normal circumstance" and instead should be a clearcut example of self defense.

3) The rest of your argument hinges on the assumption that the SUV driver was guilty of a crime. From points 1 and 2 above, its quite obvious that the SUV driver is not culpable. Therefore, the bikers had no justification to "pursue a felon". If anything, the SUV driver had every right to (nonviolently) pursue the bikers, who spent the entire day breaking traffic laws and terrorizing normal citizens.
Though the author is correct in saying a lawyer would probably be able to absolve in court any of the bikers involved, in my completely unprofessional opinion the bikers were legally at fault from start to finish.

Is she going to help him obtain a legal driver's license? He's been driving without one for close to 14 years.

Which means that it could be a scam. That happens all the time.

Now Gloria Allred is representing the speed bump. I keep hearing "Entry of the Gladiators" playing in the back of my head.
Scam was the first thing I thought when I saw it was by a third party who said he was trying to get in touch with RR ( )
