Well, i have been accused of having ADD fairly often...actually, ask Ebbs, he can confirm. I may be just a LITTLE hyper active, what can I say, I'm easily bored. While I keep a line on the interstate (unlike tripage) I am all over the bike, moving and shifting, etc even in a straight line. I also find the more I play around on and with my bike, the more comfortable I am and the better my confidence, both on and off the track.

When it comes to agressive street riding, I'm with you, I dont hang off nearly as much and have never drug on the street. I could have at the gap, but no kneepucks and I dont see the need either.

Some bikes make it hard to shift weight. The seat usually interferes and tuff to move with out upsetting the suspension. That said, I know I got some pix on other PC with me hanging way of the HD @ the Gap.

I rode a VStrom. The seat and tank conspire to keep you permanently locked into the "tank hump" position. It's virtually impossible to hang off of one.

I rode the same red Firebolt in the pictures for about 150 miles on Saturday. Because of my height and leg length, I found that I couldn't hang off of it as well as the Uly. I was too bunched up. It didn't really matter, though, because I am able to shift just upper body weight and obtain 90% of the same effect. Part of the advantage of a 49" chest.

My kids call me "The Nogre". That's the problem with sport bikes. They don't make them for galoots.

Unless you are 5'8" and built like a woman, you can't get wadded up enough to get comfortable.
