Yea me too. I don't even watch the news from any source. I've already admitted that I'm too curious for my own good, so it would be better if I could block it. Like I said, I used to block "off topic" completely but I missed a thread from Gasman about his dog so I unblocked it. I want the personal, "I bought a pair of pants threads" rather than the news items. I am interested in what some of the people on this forum do, I have almost zero interest in what strangers do.

Is Derf really a mod? If so, you could assign him to moderate the "news" sub-forum... Hey he loves this kind of stuff and these are primarily his people that post this stuff.
