I liked being married, just chose the wrong ones. I've always paid my own bills, still do even living with someone. Sometimes being with someone is great, other times it's hell. If this relationship goes in the dumpster, I'll happily live alone, maybe find a screw buddy that rides a bike and wants to travel.

I am betting it was an assumption of an internship lasting just over the summer and then her coming back to grad school, since summer is 3 months.
