Well they dont get as many opportunities. Unless you grew up like Danica karting with dad most girls are 6 to 10 years slow on the learning curve. Then there is the whole social stigma. No young chic wants to be the racer, they are pretty well cornered into cheerleader, princess, ballet, and thank god, gymnastics.

Have you ever raced? Even cars are fairly physical. And depending on the bike being raced, some of them require a fair amount of strength as well. For moto fans, I think Elena Myers is the best chance on the horizon for our "Danica" Time will tell just how good she is.

Strength and endurance, concentration, size, toughness. Its all relative. I mean Pedrosa is a real monster right? Jeff Gordon can take on WFC next right?

No, all things equal (size/weight), men are generally stronger than women. Increased amounts of testerone make a person stronger. Even reaction time doesnt matter when you dont have the muscle to use it to your advantage.

Im sure a guy like Pedrosa, no matter how small, is probably quite strong for his size, especially when both adrenaline and testosterone levels at a peak while racing. On top of that, his conditioning is probably top knotch. But women are missing that advantage of testosterone, and its quite a large one.

Relative to what? Even Pedrosa at his size is gonna have more phys strenght than a woman of the same size. And you are comparing now against a guy with PHENOMINAL talent, relatively speaking. Compare more on the average. There is also the fear factor. More men are willing to put themselves into that kind of situation than women.
