According to documents leaked to Boy Genius Report today, AppleCare representatives are being given a strong company line to deliver to unhappy iPhone 4 owners who complain about reception issues.

Employees are told to say that the device's reception performance "is the best we have ever shipped" and that its critical antenna flaws are "a fact of life in the wireless world."

I just ordered one

I happen to like the iPhone interface and it works for me and I never put the phone to my head (I always use a hands-free because I'm lazy) so I will probably not experience the reception issues.

This whole article can be summed up in this statement:

5. We ARE NOT appeasing customers with free bumpers -- DON'T promise a free bumper to customers.

That's what it comes down to, Apple doesn't want to give it's customers the obivious and simple solution to this complaint. It wants to be a dick.
