No no no... I know moving to cali without a job is suicide. And I'm not moving just to flip burgers while hoping to find a job. I've heard way too many times that I'm just a kid with stars in my eyes. Fuck that, I'm a businessman, and an agency job is just my choice of desk right now. I'm just looking for an extremely fast paced job, because I get bored easily. An agency job stays in house, you are thinking about production jobs that move with the movie making. I'm completely separate from that.

I graduate at the end of february, so that's why my resumes are going out now. And they will go out again at about 3 months. Of course I'm looking to get into the agency training programs. The pay isn't great, but its a ton more than I'm making now. Those programs last a year to a year and a half, before they assess you an agency card and you start filling a booking list, and collecting commission. That's why I said the first year is crucial to survive money wise, and then your good from there on out.

But basically I won't move without an ATP offer. But if I do get one I could be out as early as march. I plan to be out 2-3 weeks before the start date to get my bearings and get settled in. An agent told me to do that in an email. He said "get settled in, find your shops and restaurants, enjoy the sun, go to the beach, go to a Lakers game, and enjoy yourself..... because it will be the last time you see the sun until you test drive your BMW three years from now....."

Im guessing its a non-speaking part? Bag 4 or 5 of those and you can get your SAG card and start getting speaking roles.
