Need some computer help
As some of you may know, I am an occasional actor. My last film is out on DVD.
http://www.amazon.com/Broken-Springs...7075374&sr=1-1 Of course, I'm getting a lot of requests from family and friends to borrow my copy of the movie. I don't want to loan out the original and take a chance on getting it damaged. The problem is I have Vista Home Basic and I have no way to make a copy. I've downloaded a few different burners and either I'm doing it wrong or they just don't work. Nothing I create will work on a regular DVD player. So, does anyone have a suggestion of a preferably free program that I can just click and copy with? Thanks! |

If this is a commercial DVD then you're going to need a copy breaker, like DVD Shrink, to make a burnable file. This is something that the MPAA really really really doesn't like, and doesn't add to your residuals

Unfortunately, I get no residuals from this film. I'm not quite at that level yet.
I just want to protect what I've got. I don't mind loaning it out to good friends and family. Not that many ask for it anyway since most saw it at our local premier and the rest saw it at our Hollywood premier. Thanks for the suggestions! Slysoft is what I had on our old computer before it got trojaned and I had to reformat it. I just couldn't remember the name of it! |

Turned out an in-law had slysoft on his computer and I was able to make a copy! Free! My favorite price!
No reason for the boobies. They just make me happy! |
