Yeah sorry about that.
Seriously though, the rules had allowed the 1000 twins to run against the 750's and Honda took advantage of that. Harley was running the VR1000, Ducati the 916/99X bikes, hell even Suzuki ran the TLR for a few years (not sure about '02 though). They didn't build a bike and then have the rules changed to make it fit. For restrictor plates, I don't remeber, I know the new 1000 inlines were allowed less motor mods but I don't recall whether or not they used restrictor plates.
