Tried on some Gloves
I'm in the market for some new gloves as my mediocre Olympia race gloves have developed a hole in one fingertip. So I went to CycleGear to try on some gloves.
Frank Thomas XTI $130 - for the price, unbelievably crappy workmanship. The stitching and material looked like a mess. Alpinestars SP-2 $100 - decent quality for the price, felt a little thin though. Dainese Hellfire $160 - by far the best, but also the highest price. Felt twice as thick as the A*, quality of workmanship was impeccable. No intrusive interior seams on the finger tips. Recommended if you have the budget. I found a pair of SP-1s on closeout for $85 so I bought them hoping it will be a step up from the SP-2. |
