![]() Seriously though, the rules had allowed the 1000 twins to run against the 750's and Honda took advantage of that. Harley was running the VR1000, Ducati the 916/99X bikes, hell even Suzuki ran the TLR for a few years (not sure about '02 though). They didn't build a bike and then have the rules changed to make it fit. For restrictor plates, I don't remeber, I know the new 1000 inlines were allowed less motor mods but I don't recall whether or not they used restrictor plates.
