Default I rode today, bitches!

Ok you naysayers, I still ride. Here's a pic of my bike at work this morning

Last night I thought I'd change the oil since I hadn't ridden the bike in about 15 years. I pulled the plug, about 1 oz of oil came out. :yikes: Oh yeah, forgot the filler cap, this ought to do it. And... about another ounce comes out.

This bike holds 2.1 quarts of oil, and I could see the oil in the sight glass. So, I figured I'd remove the oil filter and it'd pour out. Ok, where are my oil wrenches? I couldn't find the them, dammit.

So I used the tried and true screwdriver through the filter trick. With limited room to move around the hot engine and exhaust pipe (tried to warm the oil so it'd flow) I managed to get the damn thing off after about 15 mins. And more oil came out, but not much; not even a half quart.

So, I've got the filler cap off, plug out and filter off and I can see oil through the site glass, yet it won't come out. So fuggit, I started it and it came pouring out, as you might expect. I eyeballed it and drained about 1.5 quarts total out. I put on a new filter and poured back in (good eyeballing on my part) about 1.5 quarts. Yeah so what, I have .5 quart of old oil in there. It looked new, it wasn't even black and it's all synthetic anyway.

So, there you have it. Air out of the front lines, oil change and (oh yeah) a squirt or two of carb cleaner in the carbs and voila!

PS - I couldn't get the attachment to work, kept getting
