Video from my first Brazilian Jiu Jitsu tournament yesterday in Denton Tx. I did a very poor job controlling my adrenaline surge and reacting to it accordingly. In fact, the rush was more than what I got from skydiving, so much so that from about the 1 minute point on I was afraid I was going to puke.

Performance wise I did pretty well, I was way ahead on points until I lost.

At 2:05 I make a critical mistake that cost me the match, very disappointing.

BTW, my wife competes as well and won Gold in No-Gi and Gold in Gi at the Houston Fight to Win tournament a couple of weeks ago.
