Ok, these are what I've narrowed it down to, based on availability and reliability concerns.

Honda CB1000R

Triumph Speed Triple (probably wouldn't spring for the R)

The Triumph is my favorite of the two, just because it has more character. I don't know jack about how reliable they are, though. I also don't know how hard it is to get parts for them.

I'm sure I can ride the piss out of the Honda and never have to worry about it, aside from oil changes and valve checks. Parts are certainly easy to come by.
