Track Day!!
Ok, I did the Track Orientation School at Brainerd Int'l Raceway.
Track day held by TrackAddix. It was a great school, and I recomend taking a school of this sort for all those that are just starting track days, or even going to a new track. In the morning it's back and forth between track and classroom, track time is done with the novices, and instructors are with you showing you the lines/apex's/exits, as well as critiquing your overall form. Very helpful overall... especially when they tell you before you ever see the track that the racers enter turn 1 at 180 mph!!! During the lunch, there is a track walk... actually a ride on a trailer. They drive on the race line, hitting all the apex's while a veteran racer (41 years roadracing, including Isle of Mann) tells you what is going on on the track, and what you should be doing. Afternoon is just session track day. Instructors are available for questions and sometimes to follow/lead out on the track to help with trouble spots. In all, it was a great day, and I got a lot smoother throughout. I still have a LOT to learn... practice is required. In the garage at the track Friend's bike/garage area F4i and he was running in the advanced group. best time 1:58 my best time that anyone got was a 2:18 but I'm ok with that since I never got the cajones to enter turn 1 over 125 mph... Corsa III's stick well.
