Today was first on the bike

I actually decided to take the bike to work even thought it was raining.

I put on my Nelson Riggs rain suit since it was raining at 5:45 am this morning when I left for work. Took off and thought "this isn't too bad". Then I got into a gully washer. About a third of the way there ( 19 miles one way ) I noticed my boots were wet.

That and my gloves were the only items that got wet. That rain suit was a very good investment.

It actually stopped raining about 2 miles from work.

The "payoff" was a beautiful ride home. Oh, my boots and gloves were dry by then.
