Yes and for 70 bucks he could help AVOID destroying the bike. (Aka saves the engine covers, frame and stuff like that.)

Oh and I should add that after dropping my bike 3 times, my sliders saved me from all cosmetic damage beyond the bar ends having tiny rashes on them.

It was a 20 mph lowside that did rash my sliders up.
