9 is cool.
About a month or so ago I found out that the director of 9 is from my graduating high school class. He always doodled and drew stuff all day in school and the movie is based on a short feature he made for his dissertation at UF. That same short feature won an Academy Award for short film a few years ago. Always satisfying to see someone from my shithole home town get the Hell out and make good. |

I really wanted to see Inglorious Bastards but I refuse to sit for three hours without a drink or something to snack on so I've got to wait for the Blueray.
Whats up with these long ass movies...are they trying to force ppl to buy concessions?

Inglorious bastards is a good tarantino movie.
That doesn't make it a particularly good movie mind you. But, it is an excellent tarantino film. It took me about 15 minutes to remind myself that, and then I enjoyed it. |

inglorious was an amazing film - regardless of who directed it.
for tarantino , it is not what one would expect. There was much less violence then i was expecting, but the parts that were violent, were. of course there was some great monologues in true tarantino fashion.

Good for a tarantino movie. My opinion anyway.
Was nowhere near as good as I was expecting. |

the dialogue in the movie was on par with Jacki Brown. It was boring and not memorable at all. Pulp Fiction and Reservoir Dogs were the only good movies Tarantino ever made. The rest are just crap capitalizing on his name.

douche, how can opinion be wrong? no. granted, not as quotable as those over the top (but awesome) movies, but it had very captivating dialogue. It likely had the most realistic dialogues of his movies to date. true romance had better dialogue than res. dogs, and kill bill had better cinematography then them all, and story telling on par with pulp.
