Well since cheap alcohol is readily available, it's not going to be as much. That's a given, but it's definitely not unheard of for people to commit crimes to get alcohol. It's mostly going to be limited to your low low lower class individuals because cheap alcohol is so abundant that you can still get your addiction.

However, if you don't have the means to acquire it, you will go out and commit crimes for it.

This wasn't a question of what has more crimes, so quit trying to create a tangent. This is a question of addiction and how far you will go to satisfy it.

Addiction is a major factor in DUIs, that has to be factored into the equation.

There are less alcohol related crimes because its more readily available. Its more readily available cuz its legal.

The fact is, when Alcohol wasn't legal, there were these things called "Drive-By-Shootings" and "Gangsters"...and now we have...that's right, say it with me:

DRIVE-BY-SHOOTINGS, and "GANGSTAS".

This is not new, and it's not caused by any drug. It's caused by PROHIBITION, and the results are ALWAYS THE SAME.

Furthermore, Prohibition ALWAYS exacerbates the gun problem...
