Default Pilot powers vs conti motion?

So I'm looking for new tires, and was pretty settled on pilot powers, until I was offered a deal on some conti-motions that was $40 cheaper and I wouldn't have to wait for shipping times, etc. However I never used contimotions, nor do I know anyone who has. So....... What do you guys think, bcuz twfix knows everything. I was told they are they same tire basically.

As far as my riding, I ride 2up 30% of the time, hit the dragstrip occasionally, and like to pretend I know how to ride thru twisty areas.

$40 isn't a huge amount, but the day I can light two twenty dollar bills on fire and happily watch them burn as yet to come lol

I just replaced my pilot powers for motion pro's. It feels like I gave up a small amount of sticky but more longevity. I have already put 5000 miles on them and the rear still has tread, maybe another 3 -4K, and the front has maybe twice that left. I rarely get powers to go much past 5K
