Well as someone who was a hard core SciFi reader when it came out, I thought that the book also blew goats. A suit of baby sandworms? REALLY? Even the blind guy predicting the future made sense compared to that.

They don't need another one. Maybe 30, 40, 50 years down the line, when production quality has changed, but not now.
