Storage Idea - Crazy?
I had a 9'x5' storage unit that was a perfect fit for two sportbikes, but moved to a new apartment and want to ditch the old unit in favor of storing both bikes right next door. The new unit is comparable in size, but L shaped. With a normal door swing instead of a roll-up, there's no way to get two bikes in on both wheels. My numbers say they'll fit if both are up on one wheel, and the structure in the unit should hold. SO - Brilliant or bat-shit insane?

Yeah you don't want to hang the bike any way but the same way it sits on the ground.

Another thought is to build a lift to fit the space. I could do it

I'd be skeptical. Seems like if you have to force it, not going to be worth the hassle.

What if you changed the door so it swung out?
