Well, I think a Ninja 250 on a super tight track would be fun despite the lack of HP. A R1 would be fun at a track like ViR OR Barber where the Ninjette would be such a drag. So each in its environment would be a thrill just a diff kind. So too the 8K Solistice has its place to shine and it isnt where Stangs and Vettes live and thrive.

Now, a 250 2stroke would be a blast on a tight track!

But, no, it wasnt on a track. But it was in tight, twisty roads. Sure, you can carry corner speed well, but going in and coming out of the corners, its got nothing.

Doesn't that come standard with the Miata? (bad joke edit: that's the "in the butt" kit that comes standard) Last edited by anthonyk; 02-22-2010 at 06:13 PM.. |

My wife had the Ninjette and I loved it, shame I never got it on track. I have ridden a friends Yammie TZ250 andit is fun even on a big track. Displacement aside they are nothing alike with the TZ having a 40 hp advantage and a much lighter better suspended chassis.

I totally should have bought it!!! It was a 2008 with about 50,000 miles on it but it was CLEAN...why so cheap? The guy had purchased it on a 31 month lease and had gone over the miles by almost 20,000!!! So he did the lease buy back for "under 8k" even though he didn't want the car instead of paying the huge mileage penalty. That's okay, this lot does this kind of sale all the time, I have them searching for a car for me right now. If I can get an '07/'08 for under $10,000 I'd be way happy!
