I've done a couple, loved it, wish I could do more but I am bit uptight because I was a newb. I did OK, though.

Done several at the Firebird courses over the years.

This Sept will be the first year I get to do one with my son @ Willow Springs. Best thing ever.

Most get woken up after going to the track.

I voted yes. I've done a number of track days, most at Mid-Ohio, since they are the cheapest (free).
