I have an IPod already but what I really want to do is put music on my phone but I don't know how without paying for a download. It's an LG VX8360 with the music controls on the face. Will it work if I just have them on the Micro SD card or do they need to be on the phones internal memory?

I don't know what prices are like in the states, but up here a plain MP3 player cost about half of what the comparable apple device costs.

What do you call cheap? Cheap to one guy is expensive to the next. Most people that want cheap need to steer clear of the Ipods. Ipod has the Shuffle which has no buttons other then power on the unit. Everything else is on the headphones. If you break them you need headphones with the controls on it. That cost all most as much as a new one.
There is the Nano which has a screen and now does video. Then you get into the Classic which is has the biggest drive. Then you have the Touch which will do almost everything other then wipe your ass. There are many other brands out there that a cheaper. I have a Creative Zen which I like. Sansa Clips are small and cheap. And they have a clip on them which makes them great for the gym. James

Battery only lasts a half hour, and it probably weighs 16 ounces
