Yeah I don't get it. So one necklace controls the world's power? Is it alien or something?

They are alluding to that it was a man made event that caused basic physics to cease to work. Except matter isn't going fucking crazy because electrons lost their charge....

Funny thing is that they pretty much did the same thing with the original Star Trek, but the theoretical physics sort of accidentally worked out. *EDIT* Just finished watching the first two episodes. They were needlessly melodramatic, shamelessly played to Middle America, and the premise is full of holes that you could fly a C5 Galaxy through. If I saw Miles pull his "I'm not going to look at the last guy I kill" finishing move one more time, I was going to puke.

Watched the third one last night. I enjoy a good puzzle. The Walking Dead (to me) is incredible because they give you pieces of the puzzle along the way. Nice colorful 3D pieces that are intriguing in and of themselves. But you long to see "the bigger picture" and finish the puzzle. So far, Revolution is also a puzzle. But in my mind, when complete, the puzzle would look like a stop sign and the only pieces we've been given are flat and completely red. If I don't get SOME white at some point I'll lose interest.

Conclusions:
- electricity doesn't work anymore, because physics has gone wonky - dead dad was part of the group that made physics go wonky - group that made physics go wonky is operating in secret and have MacGuffins that make physics work right - everyone and his brother is looking for the mystical MacGuffins so that they can rule the world - secret group has at least one traitor who disagrees with their reasons for screwing with physics and wants to rule the world.

I'm guessing you watch teh show for the drama the same way you watch the Walkign Dead (10 more days! fap fap fap) and don't worry about how they claim it's only the brainstem working despite that only beats your heart and helps you breath (much less smell the living). By the way, Logans Run did the whole Ivy City long ago.
