I like the concept this has. at the VERY least it could potentially help keep desk bound employees from going downhill and gaining huge amounts of weight from lack of activity. I would love to see these in place everywhere to encourage employees to be healthy.

I wonder if I could get 11 mini ones for my work...that way when the kids are full of energy I can just plop them each on one!

I'm glad I don't work in an office.

Correction, here's my office:

I do a few laps around the building every day. It's nice to get outside and breathe fresh air.

That would be cooler if they went green and made them power the lights by riding a bike like on Giligan's Island.

Kinda gives off the Hampster on a wheel vibe to me.

I just pay to go to the gym like normal people...

I understand the gym statement, but when you work a 12 hour day, sitting at a desk nearly the entire time, you wish you could get up and walk. I get a couple 15 minute breaks where I go outside and walk around the building (if I got enough sleep the night before and don't go out to the car and take a powernap ). But I get so tired of sitting in the fucking chair tied to the desk by a headset.

I'm with you man. I need a job where I can move around more. Desk jobs suck.

Ya, I'm right there with ya. Thats why I post on several sites all day while talking on the phone and e-mailing customers. Desk job sucks and most days lunch is spent right here. I don't even get out to go get it. It's delivered.

But we all have to do something and as much as I would like to get outside during the work day I'm not looking to do grunt work in the 100% humidity and 98 degree TN weather.

That shit is for the youngsters.

I'm fucked in that area, as well. All forums are blocked at work. Also, all phone calls are recorded and screens are captured. I can't be on any website not related to the discussion while on a phone call to a client. And I'm on the phone most of the damn day.
