Thats all I got for this thread since I haven't been married, I don't have kids, and I don't sit around in shitty relationships whether of my own fault, hers, or "usually" ours. |

You are a smart kid buddy! There's nothing worse than listening to someone complain about a relationship for weeks, months, years.. it's pathetic really. The other thing that sucks is people who use children to explain why they stay in bad relationships... Of course my favorite is the bitch that has a "bad" partner (by her own reckoning) from the start but continues to have children with him, 2, 3, 4 or more.

What is the definition of "failure"? Is everyone who has had a divorce a failure? I'd take their advice over someone who has never been married

Pick and choose.
1. The condition or fact of not achieving the desired end or ends: the failure of an experiment. 2. One that fails: a failure at one's career. 3. The condition or fact of being insufficient or falling short: a crop failure. 4. A cessation of proper functioning or performance: a power failure. 5. Nonperformance of what is requested or expected; omission: failure to report a change of address. 6. The act or fact of failing to pass a course, test, or assignment. 7. A decline in strength or effectiveness. 8. The act or fact of becoming bankrupt or insolvent. If you had to pick someone to run a company for you would you pick the person who has bankrupted a company or two, or the person who has had longterm success with one or two? I would rather ask couples married for a long time with a variety of situations. |
