I got my Droid on Friday and I've already used around 50MB of data. It would be more but I use wifi when I'm at home. The Google phones are basically cloud computers so pretty much everything you do requires data. I have the unlimited data plan but it's not really unlimited, the data cap is actually 5 gigs.

I have WiFi at home and all my friends houses, so most of the time that's how I get internets. I've used 122.65 MB. Since the 5th.

I too have unlimited data with a Black Berry. However I looked up my usage.
Oct was 328,897 kb This month is up to 132,265 kb already. So that is about 310 mb for just my phone. As far as plans, I have sprint. I have a family everything 1500 anytime plan. Unlimited data, email, SMS, MMS, night, weekend, and the killer piece unlimited ANY mobile ANY time (any network any time of the day, verizon, tmobile, att, sprint, nextell, ANYTHING). So once they went to that I even put my mother and brother on the plan for $20 each a month. So we have 4 phones sucking off the 1500 anytime mins (only used for calling land lines now). All for $170. We used under 1k mins this month between the 4 of us. They each toss me $40 and now I'm only paying $90 for mine and the wife's. By far, especially now with the any mobile any time, Sprint has the best plans. Coverage I have never had a problem with. And I've carried all the other brands for work. So I love my sprint. Plus their customer service and tech help has always been better IMO. |

Well I have my phone. I have a Blackberry Bold 9000. I only have 500mb a month so we will see how that goes. They gave me 2 months unlimited so I will be able to see what I use for data so that is pretty cool. I have my phone set up on my wifi network at home so that should help.
So far the phone is pretty good. The battery sucks but I also leave on wifi and bluetooth so I could turn them off and see how that helps. Damn I missed having a full keyboard. James

The IT lady at work kept trying to get me to switch out my phone for the Crackberry. I kept telling her NO!!! She said, "You can text, email, search internet, GPS, blah, blah, blah."
I told her that I have a laptop to email and search internet on. I have a map to figure out where to go. All I want is for my cell phone to make calls. I want a small thing that can be slipped into pockets. I don't want something so freakin' big that I have to carry it in a holster. My handgun is being carried in a holster.

But doesn't it depend on what you're wearing? Like if you're wearing some board shorts or sweatpants, it's a little hard to wear a holster.
