Eh, that's overkill. But my cheapo waffle maker is probably one of the most used items in my kitchen. (Right after my kitchenaid mixer. I love that thing.)

I don't like to work for food and waffles are work. A bowl of cereal is much easier. |

that bacon rack is useless.
First off, bacon in the microwave sucks. Bacon should be fried in its own fat. "Less Fat Less grease Less cholestorhol Less calories" WTF, you are taking all the goodness out of bacon. Besides, I can eat way more than 14 pieces.

I generally cook a whole flat at a time, in a 12" pan, and put what I don't eat immediately in the fridge to use on burgers and stuff

i love my kitchenaid mixer! i make cheesecakes alot and i have burnt up the motor on my cheap handheld trying to beat the massive amount of cream cheese, even at room temp. it is a must have for serious baking.

I got a kitchen aid mixer as a wedding present and am dying to use it, but I don't bake much right now, besides it's huge and my kitchen isn't. I imagine I will go through a nesting phase that will have me cooking up a storm though.
Microwaved backon IMHO is just not bacon... |
