I admit that I would have gotten the ears cropped but the pup looks just fine without it being done...cute dog.

Thanks, I had my last Doberman's done but we decided not to with Rocky and I'm glad. He looks great with them and it gives him a little more friendly look when people come up to meet him. Some don't even realize he's a Doberman until I tell them because he's very friendly, his little stubby tail's a wagging. I didn't see the need to make an 80+ lb dog look more aggressive..I do like the look of long cropped ears though
He's really turning into a great dog, if we can just get past the 'i have to put everything I can in my mouth and eat it' phase that is....haha Last edited by skiergirl; 07-09-2010 at 02:22 PM.. |

Do they ever get past that? Mine isn't a destructive chewer, but she scavenges miscellaneous stuff off the ground like I never feed her or something. I figure I'm fighting 100,000 years of opportunistic feeder evolution.

Yea I don't think they ever completely stop since that its how they figure out what things are. Sniff then taste but the random chewing on things like shoes or whatever you have left on the floor should being to stop in another month or two. Its better already the last month or two with his baby teeth falling out was the worst.

At least your Pug isn't obsessed with cat poop like my friend's is. That dog is in the litter box eating shit every 5 mins

[QUOTE=Tsunami;392109]Taking Puggy to the dog park is useless. She uses that time to scavenge for cigarette butts. She pooped out 3 from the park from Friday.
QUOTE] that is too funny. my dog thoroughly enjoys a good chew on chicken poop. I think she chases the chickens just to make them drop her favorite candy like a pez dispenser or something. |

Oh gawd thats nasty. Every so often mine think its a good idea, however a good spanking and guilt session clears them of the need for at least a month or more. I HATE that.

EWWW, Puggy's not too much of a poop eater, though she has eaten some. I wouldn't even know where to find chicken poop!
