Nice bike, nice work negotiating so far. I actually considering picking one up just to get back on two (and get the gas mileage) but don't think I'd enjoy a 250 after having the R6.

Well, we went with the $4,400 OTD price. It's my wife's money and that's what she wanted to do. honestly, driving across to the other side of town in rush-hour traffic isn't worth an extra $100 anyway. We got a $100 gift certificate to the parts department there anyway. I just got back from riding it home.
Man, that shit is fun! It's so damn light and flickable. I was just leaning back and forth to scrub in the tires a bit. Definately a great beginer's bike. The throttle is nice and unforgiving. I just took it straight home. Didn't try any twisties or anything. Looks like we'll be going to a lot or something this weekend to practice. I kinda wanna buy one to just whip it around to and fro. I still can't get over the looks. It looks amazing and it's about the same size as my bike when sitting next to eachother.

dude those new ninja 250s are bad ass looking.. makes you want to ride it just for how it looks.. headlight looks a little weak imo - something ain't right there - but the rest of it is very sweet looking... good deal.. best of luck to her on the new bike.. i wish i could get the wife interested and get her one.. she is taking a hiatus from even riding on the back of the r6 until we get our life insurance sorted out, etc. whatever.. if i wait to get my ducks in a row i'd probably be 50 when i started riding again.. but yeah i like that new ninja 250 - not a big fan of team green but that is bad ass...
