Mine is a second gen, and I think the pegs are a little higher, so the first gen might be better for him. I don't think Carolina had too many problems, but she does ride a duc, so take that for what it is worth.

I wish I would have taken a picture of my GPS when it showed the max speed as 170.
Time to go back to Montana I think.

I get uncomfortable after about 60. Have to stop at 120 for fuel. I take a break then, and its well needed.

about 150-175. that's about when the fuel light comes on anyway so it works out quite well.

I can do 200 miles easy before needing a break. Generally get fuel also as I can get about 220 - 230 on a tank if I behave.
Just to mess with a riding buddy I will see how long his butt can take it before he pulls next to me and points at his tank or butt. Normal ride to the mountains for a day for me is 400 - 500 miles. Have done past 700 in one day though. Didn't care for that too much, food poisoning on top of it didn't help.. The date was Aug. 8th 2005.. one of the worse days of my life.. buddy also got a wreakless for 83 in a 55 |
