Happy thoughts for your fur baby!!
I don't know about the rest of you, but sometimes I love mine more than my human babies More and more as they become older....

Well we got the bad news tonight. He has bone cancer. Treatment would be to amputate the leg but that alone he only has 3-6months. The anputation would be just to relieve that tumor growth and pain with it. If you couple that with chemo then it gets him another 3-5 months but all under a year. We don't think its good for him to go thru all that. Missing a leg, and chemo every 3 weeks is no way for a dog to live. So poor Wayne will be put down later this week. He's still in pain even though he's on 3 different pills it still bothers him and its not good to make him suffer.

I am so sorry to hear about The Duke. FWIW, I think you are doing right by him. You are in my thoughts, I know this will be an extra tough time for you over the next few weeks. |

Damn, sorry to hear that, Gas.
At least he had a good life with you guys for a while, and he won't be suffering for long.

Oh no.
I'm so sorry. That breaks my heart... I can't imagine what y'all are going through. You're in my thoughts.
